The starch supported cuprous iodide nanoparticles (CuI-NPs@Starch) were synthesized in aqueous medium and characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and atomic absorption spectra analysis.
