Enantioselective Friedel-Crafts C2-alkylation reactions of 3-substituted indoles with trifluoropyruvates and cyclic N-sulfonyl -ketiminoesters were developed by using the complexes of Cu(OTf)(2) or Zn(OTf)(2) with chiral bisoxazoline ligands.
